Stuttgart defender Anton joins Borussia Dortmund, signing a contract until June 2028

Dortmund Officially Announce Signing of Anton on Four-Year Contract Borussia Dortmund have officially announced the signing of German defender Anton on a four-year contract. He will wear the previously vacant number 3 shirt for the club. According to earlier reports, Dortmund activated the €22.5 million release clause in Anton’s contract.

After signing, Anton said: “I am very much looking forward to my first match at Signal Iduna Park and to meeting the fans and my new teammates. I hadn’t planned on changing clubs, but then Dortmund came along. This top club has just reached the Champions League final, which shows the potential of the club. From the very beginning, everyone at Dortmund made me feel that they really wanted to sign me, and that I can and should play an important role. I am really excited.”
