Despite the transfer fee exceeding expectations, Roma is still moving forward with the En-Nesyri deal

According to Spanish media outlet Eldesmaque, Roma is advancing negotiations with En-Nesyri and Sevilla.
Roma is currently striving to find the best replacement for Lukaku, and En-Nesyri, who plays for Sevilla, has been identified as a key target for the Giallorossi. The Moroccan international has already turned down offers from Fenerbahçe and Saudi clubs, expressing his desire to remain in one of Europe’s top five leagues.
It is reported that Sevilla hopes to receive a transfer fee of 20-22 million euros for their main striker, who is in the final year of his contract, while the player is demanding a long-term contract with an annual net salary of 1.4 million euros from Roma.
Although the relatively high transfer fee might pose an obstacle to the deal, Roma is not giving up and continues to push forward with negotiations with both Sevilla and the player.
