AC Milan Secure Alvaro Morata from Atletico Madrid

AC Milan have officially signed Spanish forward Alvaro Morata from Atletico Madrid on a four-year deal, with an option for an additional 12 months. The Serie A giants activated Morata's release clause, reported to be around £11 million, to bring the 31-year-old to Italy.
Morata, who recently captained Spain to victory in Euro 2024, is a seasoned professional with a rich career history. He began his professional journey with Real Madrid, where he won the Champions League twice during two separate spells. His career also includes successful stints with Juventus, where he secured the Italian title twice, and Chelsea, with whom he won the FA Cup.
Internationally, Morata has been a prolific scorer for Spain, netting 36 goals in 80 appearances. His experience and leadership are expected to be valuable assets for AC Milan as they aim to bolster their attacking options.
The move marks another significant chapter in Morata's career, and Milan fans will be eager to see how his presence impacts the team's performance in the upcoming season.
