Mourinho: It is unacceptable for Champions League matches to be played on artificial turf

In the first leg of the second round of the Champions League qualifiers, Mourinho made his official debut as the manager of Fenerbahce. Thanks to Džeko's hat-trick, they won 4-3 away against Swiss team Lugano.
After the match, Mourinho criticized the pitch in his interview: "Before the game, we didn't want to make excuses, but playing on artificial turf is very difficult. It's hard to adapt, and the players had trouble dribbling." "It's unacceptable to have such a pitch in a Champions League-level match. I don't understand why UEFA would allow games to be played on artificial turf, and I don't understand why a good team like Lugano would choose such a pitch. It doesn't lead to good results."
