Besiktas is interested in Lenglet

According to reports, Turkish giants Besiktas are interested in signing Barcelona defender Clement Lenglet on loan.

Turkish media outlet Takvim reports that Beşiktaş has included Lenglet on their transfer list and would prefer to sign him on a free transfer, although they are also willing to take him on loan and cover part of his salary. Besiktas will participate in the Europa Conference League this season, but it remains to be seen if the French defender is interested in moving to the Turkish league.

Spanish media outlet Sport points out that Barca wants to resolve the situation with Lenglet and find a permanent solution if possible. The defender knows he is not in Xavi's plans, but he is currently training with the team and is likely to participate in their US tour, where he may get some playing time.

Lenglet is looking for a new club but hopes to continue his career in Europe, ruling out a move to Saudi Arabia. The offers he has received so far have not been convincing for either him or the club. This summer, Barca offered him a termination agreement to end his contract, which runs until June 2026, but the Frenchman did not accept it. Termination remains a last resort, although the club is open to considering various proposals.
