AS: Real Madrid Has Not Yet Started Negotiations for Mastantonio

According to AS, Real Madrid's higher-ups admire River Plate youngster Mastantonio, but the two clubs have yet to start negotiations.

Previous media reports stated that River Plate President Jorge Brito and Vice President Patanian had already arrived in Madrid to discuss Mastantonio's future transfer with Real Madrid's management. However, according to AS, River Plate has not arranged any representatives to discuss Mastantonio's transfer. Nonetheless, Real Madrid is indeed very interested in the player. Currently, the staff responsible for transfers at Real Madrid have already expressed this interest to River Plate.

On the other hand, River Plate will not sell Mastantonio for a low price, with a specific release clause set at €41.5 million, which is still a significant fee for a 16-year-old player.
