Liverpool Reject Marseille's Bid for Wataru Endo

Liverpool has turned down a £11.8 million offer from Marseille for Japanese midfielder Wataru Endo. The 31-year-old, who signed a four-year contract with Liverpool from Stuttgart for approximately £16.2 million last August, has become an integral part of the team.
Since joining Liverpool, Endo has made 43 appearances, including 20 starts in the Premier League, and has won the League Cup in his debut season. His performances have caught the eye of Marseille, managed by Roberto de Zerbi, who previously faced Endo while coaching Brighton.
Liverpool, aware of additional interest from German clubs, remains firm in their decision to retain Endo, especially as they have not made any signings this summer under new manager Arne Slot.
The club values Endo's contributions and leadership, making him a crucial part of their plans for the upcoming season.
