Manchester United Close to Signing Noussair Mazraoui, Matthijs de Ligt Talks Continue

Manchester United are in advanced negotiations with Bayern Munich to secure the services of right-back Noussair Mazraoui. The Morocco international is keen to reunite with Erik ten Hag, having previously worked together at Ajax. This potential transfer hinges on Aaron Wan-Bissaka's departure, with West Ham in discussions to sign the United defender for a fee exceeding £15 million.
Mazraoui's move to Old Trafford is seen as a strategic fit due to his familiarity with Ten Hag's system, especially in enhancing right-flank dynamics alongside Antony. The partnership between Mazraoui and Antony was pivotal at Ajax, and United aim to replicate that synergy.

Meanwhile, United are also keeping talks open with Bayern Munich for centre-back Matthijs de Ligt. Although any move for De Ligt would require offloading players like Victor Lindelof, who is in the final year of his contract, United's interest remains strong. Bayern Munich, despite an injury to their new signing Hiroki Ito, are still willing to negotiate De Ligt's transfer.
With the transfer window closing on August 30, United are pushing to finalize their squad, aiming to balance their roster financially and positionally.
