Barcelona may not register Ronald Araujo until January

Barcelona have reportedly decided not to register Ronald Araujo until January after the defender was ruled out of action for four months.
Araujo has undergone surgery on a hamstring injury sustained on international duty and is not expected back until the end of the year.
Diario AS are now reporting that Barca have decided, because of their problems with financial fair play, that they won’t register Araujo this summer and will wait until the winter.
The decision comes at a time when Barca are facing a headache regarding player registrations for the new season.
Vitor Roque and Inigo Martinez are just two players currently unregistered which has led to uncertainty over their futures.
Sergi Roberto also looks set to depart as Barca can’t find room for a contract extension.
The move means that we won’t see Araujo in Barca colors until 2025 and that Flick has some decisons to make regarding his backline for the first half of the season.
