Two days ago, Inzaghi reiterated his request to sign Gudmundsson

According to Inter Milan correspondent Pasquale Guarro, Simone Inzaghi requested the signing of Albert Gudmundsson to the club's top management two days ago. However, the inability to sell Joaquín Correa and the uncertain future of Marko Arnautović have hindered the Nerazzurri's actions.
Currently, Fiorentina is believed to be close to signing Gudmundsson on a loan deal with a mandatory purchase option, totaling €25 million. Pasquale Guarro's report pointed out that the transfer fee for Gudmundsson is actually affordable for Inter. Inzaghi made one last request to the club to sign the Icelandic international two days ago. The player himself had been waiting for Inter for nearly a month, but due to the club's inability to find a buyer for Joaquín Correa and the uncertain status of Arnautović, they have been unable to proceed with signing Gudmundsson.
