Journalist Romano wrote, "De Gea to Fiorentina, Here we go!" The journalist stated that Fiorentina has reached a verbal agreement with the former Manchester United goalkeeper, with the contract valid until June 2025 and an option for a one-year extension. Travel plans and medical examinations have already been arranged.
Spanish media outlet Relevo's journalist Moretto reported that De Gea will arrive in Florence tomorrow (Friday). Due to failing to reach a renewal agreement, the 33-year-old De Gea left Manchester United last summer when his contract expired and has not found a new club over the past year.
