SC Farense: Real Madrid Castilla goalkeeper Canizares has joined the team

Real Madrid and SC Farense have officially announced that Real Madrid Castilla goalkeeper Canizares has joined Farense.
Real Madrid's official statement reads: "Real Madrid C.F. and Farense have reached an agreement for the transfer of Canizares. He joined Real Madrid in January 2014 at the age of just 12. Since then, he has worked his way through our youth system, eventually playing for Castilla for three seasons. In 2020, he won the Youth League title. Real Madrid wishes him and his family all the best in this new stage of their lives."
Last season, Canizares made 29 appearances for Castilla as the first-choice goalkeeper, keeping 10 clean sheets. In addition to being Castilla's starting goalkeeper for the 2023-24 season, he was called up to the first team eight times, four of which were in the UEFA Champions League and four in La Liga. Cañizares' ten-year career with Los Blancos is coming to an end.
