Chelsea Secures £54m Signing of Wolves' Pedro Neto

Chelsea has completed the signing of Pedro Neto from Wolverhampton Wanderers for £54 million. The 24-year-old Portuguese forward has committed to a seven-year contract with the club, lasting until 2031. Neto was introduced to fans at Stamford Bridge during half-time of a friendly match against Inter Milan.

Expressing his excitement, Neto stated, "I feel really grateful to have joined this club. I have worked really hard in my career to be here and I’m looking forward to getting on the pitch with this shirt."
Chelsea finalized the deal with Wolves after two previous bids were declined. The agreement includes an initial payment of £51.3 million, plus an additional £2.6 million in add-ons. This transfer represents a record sale for Wolves, surpassing the previous record set by Ruben Neves' move to Al-Hilal.
Neto's signing brings Chelsea's summer expenditure to approximately £185 million, as they continue to strengthen their squad with multiple new players.
