Wolves Eye Loan Deal for Arsenal's Ramsdale Amid Interest from Southampton

Wolves have made a strategic move by submitting a loan offer for Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale, which includes an option to buy. Ramsdale, who lost his starting position to David Raya last season, is considered surplus to requirements at Arsenal. The Gunners are open to letting the 26-year-old England international leave, seeking a fee of around £25 million.
Having made only six appearances across all competitions last season, Ramsdale is eager for regular first-team action. Wolves are willing to cover most of his salary to facilitate the move. However, Southampton also remains interested in the former Sheffield United shot-stopper, and Ajax might reconsider a second bid after their initial loan offer was rejected.
As Arsenal looks to finalize their squad before the transfer window closes, Ramsdale's potential departure adds to the ongoing negotiations surrounding other players like Eddie Nketiah. With interest from Nottingham Forest, Arsenal is holding out for a £30m-£35m fee for Nketiah, having already rejected a £25m bid. The club continues to evaluate offers as they balance their roster for the upcoming season.
