Osimhen's Future Uncertain After Failed Chelsea Transfer

Victor Osimhen finds himself in a state of uncertainty after Chelsea was unable to finalize a deal for the Napoli striker before the transfer deadline. Despite Napoli accepting an €80 million offer from Al Ahli, Osimhen hesitated to leave European football, opening the door for Chelsea to intensify their interest. However, negotiations with Chelsea did not result in a completed transfer.

Al Ahli also showed interest in Brentford's Ivan Toney, but due to Saudi Pro League restrictions, the club couldn’t sign both players. With the Saudi transfer window open until September 2, Osimhen might consider offers from other Middle Eastern clubs or work on mending fences at Napoli.

Complicating matters further, Napoli's new head coach Antonio Conte has pushed for and secured the signing of Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea. This development means Osimhen faces increased competition and a potentially challenging season ahead at Napoli.
