AS Roma is pleased to announce the signing of Mario Hermoso. Born in 1995, Mario Hermoso is a left-footed defender who has played as both a center-back and a left-back throughout his career, making over 300 appearances. He developed in Real Madrid's youth academy and has played for Valladolid and Espanyol before joining Atlético Madrid. During his five seasons under Diego Simeone at Atlético, he won the La Liga title in the 2020/21 season and also competed in the UEFA Champions League.
