Sporting CP signs 17-year-old Real Madrid midfielder Paulo Iago

Sporting CP has officially announced the signing of 17-year-old Spanish midfielder Paulo Iago from Real Madrid.

Paulo Iago is a product of Real Madrid's youth academy. He has previously made three appearances for Real Madrid's U19 team in the UEFA Youth League and has represented Spain at the U15, U16, and U17 levels, with a total of 25 appearances and 7 goals. Sporting CP has now confirmed that they have officially signed Paulo Iago, and the Spanish U17 international will join Sporting's B team for the new season, competing in the Portuguese second division.
