FT: Villarreal 1-5 FC Barcelona

In the 6th round of La Liga, Villarreal hosted Barcelona at home. In the first half, Torre provided a through ball, and Lewandowski scored after running onto it. Lewandowski then scored again with a bicycle kick from a rebound, completing a brace. Pepe assisted Ayoze Pérez, who pulled one back for Villarreal. Towards the end of the first half, Ter Stegen injured his right leg and was stretchered off, with Peña coming on.

In the second half, Torre scored with a deflected shot from outside the box, adding to his assist. Later, Yamal won a penalty, but Lewandowski hit the post, missing out on a hat-trick. In the remaining time, Víctor provided an assist, and Raphinha scored with a deflected shot. Towards the end of the match, Yamal delivered a brilliant outside-foot pass, and Raphinha completed his brace. Barcelona eventually won 5-1, securing their 6th consecutive win to start the season.
