Clippers star Kawhi Leonard has undergone knee surgery

According to NBA insider Shams Charania, Clippers star Kawhi Leonard has undergone knee surgery.

Shams wrote: "Clippers star Leonard had knee surgery during the offseason. The team stated today that Leonard will only focus on strengthening his knee before the start of training camp, but team officials are optimistic about his progress."

This summer, Leonard announced he would withdraw from the U.S. Olympic team to focus on his recovery for the upcoming season. In the first round of last season's playoffs, Leonard faced another injury, and the Clippers were ultimately eliminated by the Mavericks with a 2-4 series score.
