Deniz Undav's Brace Leads Germany to Victory Over Bosnia

In an exciting UEFA Nations League match held in Zenica, Germany secured a 2-1 victory against Bosnia and Herzegovina, thanks to a stellar performance by forward Deniz Undav. The 27-year-old scored both goals in the first half, putting Germany in a commanding position as they aim for a spot in the quarter-finals of the tournament.

Undav's first goal came in the 30th minute, assisted by a clever backheel from Bayer Leverkusen's Florian Wirtz. Just six minutes later, he doubled the lead, converting a cross from Maximilian Mittelstaedt. The match was played in front of a passionate crowd of 13,500 fans, who saw Bosnia attempt a comeback when veteran striker Edin Dzeko scored from a corner in the 70th minute. However, Germany managed to maintain their lead and secure the win.

This match was particularly significant for Germany's manager Julian Nagelsmann, who had to make several last-minute changes to the squad. With goalkeeper Marc-Andre Ter Stegen absent, Alexander Nuebel made his debut, while Undav, making only his second start for the national team, partnered with fellow late bloomer Tim Kleindienst. The victory places Germany in a favorable position as they prepare for their next match against the Netherlands in Munich, where a win will guarantee their place in the quarter-finals.
