Fletcher Faces FA Charges for Lashing Out at Referee Over De Ligt Incident

According to reports, Manchester United assistant coach Darren Fletcher is facing charges from the FA after a confrontation with the referee during the match against Brentford.
Manchester United correspondent Neil Custis from *The Sun* reports that just before halftime, De Ligt was forced to leave the pitch due to a head injury, and shortly after he went off, Brentford scored from a corner, which sparked anger from the Manchester United side. Head coach Erik ten Hag and assistant coach Ruud van Nistelrooy were both shown yellow cards for protesting.
It is reported that Van Nistelrooy continued to protest to the referee in the players' tunnel, while Darren Fletcher was already waiting in the tunnel and allegedly had a verbal altercation with referee Samuel Barrott and fourth official Gavin Ward. The FA will now await the referee's report before deciding whether to take further action.
