Former Italian international Luiz Felipe is close to terminating his contract with Al-Ittihad

According to journalist Matteo Moretto from *Relevo*, center-back Luiz Felipe, who has been called up to the Italian national team, is in talks with Al-Ittihad to terminate his contract.
The 27-year-old Luiz Felipe joined Al-Ittihad from Real Betis last summer for a fee of €22 million, but so far this season, he has only made one appearance for the club. According to Matteo Moretto, despite his current contract running until 2026, Luiz Felipe is now negotiating the final details of his contract termination with Al-Ittihad.
The official announcement is expected in the coming days, and the former Lazio star will become a free agent in search of a new club.
