In the lawsuit, the plaintiffs, April Almanza Lopez and Kiara Rae McGillen, claim that on November 13, 2022, they were driving on a highway in Littlerock, California, when they were hit by the James family.

Lopez and McGillen stated in the lawsuit that they were injured in the accident and required further medical treatment. They also claimed that the car they were driving was damaged and devalued as a result of the crash. They are suing the two NBA stars, although the amount of compensation they are seeking is unclear.
