Newcastle United has officially announced the signing of 17-year-old Georgian forward Salia, who will join the club next summer. Newcastle's statement reads: "We have completed the signing of highly-rated Georgian forward Salia from Dinamo Tbilisi. He will officially join the club on his 18th birthday next August and will remain with Dinamo Tbilisi in the meantime. Welcome to Newcastle United, Salia!"

Salia, currently 17, is valued at €300,000 on Transfermarkt, stands 181 cm tall, and plays as a forward. This season, he has made 24 league appearances for Dinamo Tbilisi in the Georgian top division, scoring 5 goals. He is also part of the Georgian U17 national team and has represented Georgia in the U17 European Championship.
