Dubai witnessed the celebration of the 2024 Globe Soccer Awards
This award ceremony aims to honor players, coaches, and clubs who have performed exceptionally well throughout the year. The event was held at Atlantis, The Palm, with active football stars and legends from around the world in attendance.

Ballon d'Or winner Rodri and FIFA Men's Player of the Year Vinícius Jr. were once again contenders, but the top honor ultimately went to the Real Madrid star. Meanwhile, Barcelona star Aitana Bonmatí claimed the Women's Ballon d'Or and the FIFA Best Women's Player Award, adding to her growing collection of individual accolades.
A total of 18 finalists were nominated for the Best Male Player Award, while 12 contenders competed for the Best Female Player Award. Given that this year's Globe Soccer Awards were held in Dubai, there were also categories specifically recognizing Middle Eastern players and their respective clubs.
