Bodo/Glimt
On December 1 of last year, the "Yellow Ones" secured their second consecutive and fourth overall Norwegian championship title. While the new Eliteserien season does not kick off until March 30, coach Kjetil Knudsen's team is currently in preparation mode, also competing in the Europa League. At the end of January, Bodo/Glimt confidently defeated Israeli Maccabi Tel Aviv at home, showing great promise to finish in the top eight of the group stage. However, they unexpectedly dropped points in their final match against a heavily rotated Nice side, one of the tournament's weaker teams, ending the game in a 1:1 draw. Consequently, the Norwegians finished ninth in their group, narrowly missing out on a place to the Rangers due to goal difference, forcing them into the playoff round.
In their first leg against Twente in Enschede, Kjetil Knudsen's men put in a generally lackluster performance, and it is somewhat miraculous that they only suffered a narrow defeat. The opposition crafted many goal opportunities and maintained a one-goal advantage for a lengthy period. Toward the end of the match, the "Yellow Ones" managed to equalize, with captain Patrick Berg finding the net, and even went ahead briefly, which would have been utterly unjust towards the Tukkers. Just as the referee was preparing to blow for full-time, the Dutch side launched an attack that resulted in a penalty awarded, which experienced striker Ricky van Wolfswinkel converted with confidence.
Twente
Josef Oosting's side started the group stage poorly, enduring a run of six matches without a win, collecting just four points during that stretch. However, in two January encounters, the Tukkers maximized their points, first overcoming Malmo 3:2 away, then securing a narrow 1:0 home victory over Besiktas. This latter win allowed the "Reds" to sneak into the playoff zone at the last moment, albeit with a negative goal difference. Winning alone was not enough; they had to wait for the conclusion of parallel matches, but ultimately, it all fell into place for the Eredivisie representatives.
In the first encounter against the Norwegians, Twente performed quite well, albeit they could have enjoyed a more convincing lead had they converted half of their chances. Some lack of precision and the opponent’s goalkeeper's heroics kept the home side leading by a single goal, scored by Tunisian winger Saifalla Ltaief just four minutes in, marking his first goal of the season. On the flip side, the game could have ended in an unjust stalemate, but the Dutch team found the strength for one last attack leading to the penalty. Whether the elation from this success or the marked superiority in quality contributed, Oosting's team also secured a league victory over one of the bottom-dwellers, Valwijk, 2:0, who had been on a decent run recently (ten points from four matches). Notably, the coach did not grant rest to almost any of the first-team players, except for Gilgers and van Wolfswinkel, but he knows best.
Bodo/Glimt possible starting lineup:

FC Twente possible starting lineup:
Unnerstall; Van Rooij, Hilgers, Lagerbielke, Kuipers; Vlap, Sadilek, Steijn; Lammers, Van Wolfswinkel, Ltaief
Bodo/Glimt vs FC Twente Head-To-Head and Key Numbers
This will be the second-ever meeting between Bodo/Glimt and Twente, with the Dutch outfit claiming a 2-1 victory when they first met in last week’s reverse leg.
Bodo/Glimt have failed to win five of their last six matches across all competitions, losing four and picking up one draw since the turn of the year.
Twente are yet to suffer defeat away from home in the Europa League, picking up one win and three draws while scoring six goals and conceding five in that time.
Bodo/Glimt are unbeaten in 14 of their 16 competitive home games this season, claiming 13 wins and one draw so far.
Prediction: Bodo/Glimt 2-2 FC Twente
Bodo/Glimt may be formidable at home in Europe, but they were beaten at the same stage in the Conference League last season by Dutch opponents in the form of Ajax after losing 2-1 in the first leg, and that step up in quality could prove too much for them. Only Ajax and PSV Eindhoven have scored more than Twente's 46 in the Eredivisie this season, showing what the visitors are capable of in attack, and they will most likely need to score at least once to have a chance of progressing.
