As for the midfield unit, Alexis Mac Allister and Ryan Gravenberch will add defensive cover and control to the side. Meanwhile, Dominik Szoboszlai will look to create goalscoring opportunities for his teammates in the final third. Mohamed Salah and Cody Gakpo will add creativity and goals from the wide areas, with Diogo Jota leading the line for Liverpool vs PSG on Tuesday.

PSG
PSG rested their starting eleven at the weekend, and they have a fully fit squad to choose from vs Liverpool on Tuesday. The visitors are likely to shape up in a 4-3-3 formation, with Gianluigi Donnarumma in goal.

Achraf Hakimi and Nuno Mendes will be deployed in the full-back areas, and they will look to help out defensively and create goalscoring opportunities for their teammates going forward. Marquinhos will start alongside Willian Pachho in the central defensive partnership.

Liverpool vs PSG Head-to-Head and Key Numbers
Liverpool have a slight edge over PSG on the European stage and have won three out of the five matches played between the two teams, as opposed to PSG's two victories.
After losing their first match against PSG in Europe in 1997, Liverpool have lost only one of their last four games against the Parisians and have won three of these games.
Teams from England have remained unbeaten in the last 15 matches played between English and French teams in European competitions on English soil, with the English side winning 14 of these games.
Liverpool have progressed from each of their last 14 knockout ties in the UEFA Champions League where they have managed to win the first leg.
Liverpool have managed to win each of their four matches at home in the UEFA Champions League this season.

Prediction: Liverpool 1-3 Paris Saint-Germain (a.e.t, PSG win 3-2 on aggregate)
PSG's crop were allegedly left surprised at the level of Liverpool's performance in midweek, and while Anfield on Champions League nights can prove intimidating for any all foes, the Kop may be silenced on Tuesday. Slot's side were nothing if not mediocre in the first half of their Southampton success and needed two Salah spot kicks to bail them out in the second half, but do not expect PSG to make similar mistakes in their own penalty area. As Enrique is also blessed with a fully-fit squad and could afford to make numerous changes at the weekend, the visitors' refreshed options should rectify their first-leg attacking mistakes against their leggy visitors, and PSG therefore have our vote to progress at the end of a 120-minute marathon.
