Atletico Madrid Joins the Race for Antony's Signature

Manchester United may find it easier than expected to sell Antony in the upcoming summer transfer window, as La Liga giants Atletico Madrid have shown interest in the winger.
Since January, Antony has been on loan at Real Betis, where he has rediscovered his best form. The 25-year-old's impressive performances have caught the attention of several clubs, including Atletico Madrid, as reported by The I Paper.
Atletico manager Diego Simeone is reportedly keen to add Antony to his squad, seeking a new winger after expressing dissatisfaction with the current options in his team. Simeone believes the Brazilian could become a key goal-scoring contributor for Atletico next season.
Manchester United, according to sources, will not stand in the way of Antony’s departure if the right offer comes in. The winger is not part of Ruben Amorim's plans for next season and has become comfortable in Spain. If Atletico meets Manchester United's asking price, Antony could be on his way out this summer, with a reported fee of at least 40 million euros being targeted for his sale.
