Manchester City Eyes Morgan Gibbs-White as Potential Successor to Kevin De Bruyne

With Kevin De Bruyne confirming his departure from Manchester City at the end of the current season, the club has identified Morgan Gibbs-White as a potential replacement for the Belgian playmaker. While some believe Phil Foden could step into De Bruyne's shoes, as he did last season, Manchester City recognizes that replacing such an influential player may require more than one solution.
The club has also shown interest in Bayer Leverkusen's Florian Wirtz, seeing him as another promising option for the role, although securing his transfer could prove challenging.
Gibbs-White has been exceptional for Nottingham Forest this season, scoring five goals and providing seven assists as the club pushes for a spot in next season's Champions League. Manchester City has taken notice of his impressive form and sees the English midfielder as a strong candidate to fill the void left by De Bruyne.
According to reports, Manchester City’s main focus this summer will likely be signing a new number 10, with Gibbs-White and Wirtz at the top of their list. Pep Guardiola is reportedly a big admirer of Gibbs-White, and the club is now focusing its efforts on finding a long-term replacement for their star player.
