Persija Set to Make JIS Its Home Ground Next Season?

The Governor of Jakarta, Pramono Anung, has confirmed that the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) will be made available for Persija Jakarta to use as their official home ground in the 2025-26 Liga 1 season. He expressed his hope that the team would start playing at JIS from next year.
Earlier, on February 20, 2025, Jakpro and Persija signed a partnership agreement to designate JIS as the football club's official home. Pramono emphasized that this collaboration reflects the commitment of the Jakarta Provincial Government (Pemprov DKI), Jakpro, and Persija in building a strong football ecosystem.
“We hope this stadium will truly become a home for Persija in the future,” Pramono stated after meeting the Persija team at the DKI Jakarta City Hall on Thursday, April 10, 2025.
In addition, Pramono revealed that the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government is offering a 60% reduction in the entertainment tax for Persija’s matches. This initiative is aimed at helping the club grow and contribute to the local and national economy through its business activities.
“We are providing a 60% discount on the entertainment tax for Persija,” he added.
Pramono also mentioned plans for financial support and sponsorship for Persija, hoping these contributions will help improve the team’s performance and quality.
“With this spirit and the sponsorship support we are offering, we hope Persija will become stronger and improve its quality,” Pramono concluded.
