Bad News for Persib Ahead of Bali United Match

Persib Bandung faces a tough challenge ahead of their match against Bali United in the 29th week of the 2024-25 Liga 1 season. The team will be without their top scorer, Tyronne del Pino, who is sidelined due to an accumulation of yellow cards. This marks the first time this season that the Spanish forward will miss a game, having been suspended after receiving his fourth yellow card in a match against Borneo FC.
Del Pino's absence is a significant blow for Persib, as he has been a key player this season, scoring 14 goals and providing six assists in 26 appearances. Despite this setback, head coach BojanHodak remains optimistic, stating that he has prepared replacements for Del Pino. Several players who were previously unavailable, including Marc Klok, Edo Febriansah, and GervaneKastaneer, are now fit to play, though it remains to be seen how many minutes they can contribute.
Hodak acknowledged the challenges Persib has faced in maintaining a full-strength squad throughout the season, noting that the team has rarely played with all its key players. Currently, Persib leads the Liga 1 standings with 58 points from 28 matches, eight points ahead of second-placed Dewa United, with six matches remaining. They remain in a strong position to defend their league title.
