Al-Hilal Pursues Barella and Inzaghi in Milan Talks

Al-Hilal is reportedly eyeing two key figures from Inter Milan, Nicolò Barella and coach Simone Inzaghi, as they look to strengthen their squad. The Saudi Pro League club’s chairman, Fahad bin Nafel, traveled to Milan this week to explore potential deals for the duo. Despite Barella rejecting a significant offer from Al-Hilal earlier, their interest in the Italian midfielder remains strong.
In addition to Barella, Al-Hilal is also targeting Inzaghi to replace their current manager, Jorge Jesus. The Saudi side is reportedly willing to offer up to €20 million per season to secure Inzaghi's services, but Inter remains confident that the coach will extend his contract with the club. Inter's president, Beppe Marotta, emphasized that Inzaghi’s contract renewal is imminent.
Should Inzaghi agree to a new deal with Inter, he would become the highest-paid coach in Serie A, with a salary of €7 million plus add-ons. However, Al-Hilal’s pursuit could still put pressure on both Inzaghi and Inter, as the Saudi club’s offers could be very enticing.
