----------------------------------
Tottenham Hotspur
James Maddison suffered a blow in their last outing. While Ange Postecoglou did confirm that was not that big a deal, the English international still might not be risked from the start.

Spurs remain without the services of Son Heung-min and Radu Dragusin. Apart from the duo, everyone else is expected to be available for selection. Since the Europa League is the priority for the North London club heading into the final weeks of the season, he could rest some of his big guns.

The home team will line up in a 4-3-3 formation, where Guglielmo Vicario will take charge in goal. Archie Gray and Djed Spence could be the full-backs, with Kevin Danso starting alongside Ben Davies in central defence.
Pape Matar Sarr should feature alongside Dejan Kulusevski and Yves Bissouma in the centre of the park. The trio will look to control the tempo of the game and ensure they dominate the ball. Wilson Odobert and Mathys Tel will provide width to their attacks, while Dominic Solanke will continue to lead the line for Tottenham against Nottingham Forest on Monday.

Nottingham Forest
Ola Aina and Taiwo Awoniyi both remain a major doubt for Nuno Espirito Santo’s team. Meanwhile, Anthony Elanga, who came off the bench last time out, should be ready to start this fixture.

Against Tottenham Hotspur, Nottingham Forest will line up in a 4-2-3-1 formation, where Matz Sels will feature in goal. Murillo and Nikola Milenkovic will feature in the heart of the defence of the home team. Neco Williams and Alex Moreno will take charge on the flanks as full-backs.

Nicolas Domínguez and Elliot Anderson will feature in the centre of the park. They will look to shield the backline and ensure the opposition to not dominate the ball. Morgan Gibbs-White will be the attacking midfielder, with Callum Hudson-Odoi and Anthony Elanga featuring on the flanks and providing much-needed width to their attacks. Chris Wood should continue to lead the line for Nottingham Forest against Tottenham.

Tottenham Hotspur possible starting lineup:
Vicario; Gray, Danso, Davies, Spence; Kulusevski, Bissouma, Sarr; Odobert, Solanke, Tel

Nottingham Forest possible starting lineup:
Sels; Williams, Milenkovic, Murillo, Moreno; Anderson, Dominguez; Elanga, Gibbs-White, Hudson-Odoi; Wood

Tottenham Hotspur vs Nottingham Forest Head-to-Head and Key Numbers
Last time these sides faced off, Nottingham Forest won 1-0 thanks to an Anthony Elanga goal. However, it was their first win over Spurs since their promotion in 2022, as they had lost their previous four meetings with them.
Tottenham's last league game was a terrible one, as they slumped to a 4-2 defeat to struggling Wolves. They have won just once in their last six league games, and have only won twice at home since December.
Nottingham Forest's form has taken a downturn in recent games. After winning three in a row, they were defeated by both Aston Villa and Everton. With the likes of Villa and Chelsea breathing down their necks, there's now a real chance that they miss out on Champions League qualification.
Despite their poor form in the league, Tottenham's confidence will be boosted by their 0-1 win over Eintracht Frankfurt on Thursday, a win that sent them into the Europa League semi-finals. They are now three wins away from unlikely Champions League qualification themselves.
Despite losing their last two games, Nottingham Forest's defensive record is still exemplary. They have conceded just 38 goals all season, with only the top two conceding fewer.

Prediction: Tottenham Hotspur 0-0 Nottingham Forest
Feeling the effects of Thursday's exertions and struggling for any sort of inspiration in the Premier League, Tottenham's performance on Monday night may be a bit of a reality check after the highs of midweek, especially if Postecoglou makes a multitude of alterations as expected.

Only Liverpool and Arsenal have conceded fewer goals than Santo's Forest this season, but the visitors have scored just twice in their last four games too, so this Easter Monday battle may be anything but a cracker.
