Indonesia's National Teams Face Packed 2025 Schedule

From May to December 2025, the Indonesian national teams are set to navigate an intense series of matches across multiple competitions, driven by the ambition to secure a spot in the 2026 FIFA World Cup and make a mark in various regional and international tournaments. The senior men’s team, currently led by Patrick Kluivert, faces two crucial World Cup qualifiers in June—against China at home and Japan away—needing back-to-back wins to keep their dream alive.
In addition to the men's fixtures, the women's and youth teams will also be in action throughout the year. Highlights include the AFC Women's Futsal Asian Cup in May, the ASEAN U-23 Championship in July, and several youth-level Asian Cup qualifiers. These tournaments are key opportunities for Indonesia to strengthen its presence in both regional and continental competitions.
Closing out the year, Indonesia will participate in the prestigious FIFA U-17 World Cup in Qatar in November, followed by the 33rd SEA Games in Thailand in December. This packed calendar not only reflects the growing ambition of Indonesian football but also signals a pivotal phase in its long-term development across all age groups and divisions.
