Persita Tangerang Retains Core Squad of 16 Players Ahead of Next Liga 1 Season

Persita Tangerang has confirmed that 16 players will remain with the team for the upcoming Liga 1 season, including captain Muhammad Toha and goalkeeper Kurniawan Kartika Ajie. Toha, now entering his eighth year with the club, was a key contributor last season, providing both goals and assists to support the team’s efforts.
The team’s defense continues to rely on experienced players such as Mario Jardel, Ryuji Utomo, Charisma Fathoni, and Andrean Benyamin, who remain central to Persita’s backline. Meanwhile, the midfield and attack see familiar faces like Badrian Ilham, Ahmad Fahd, Yardan Yafi, Esal Sahrul, and Ahmad Nur Hardianto staying loyal to the club.
In addition to retaining established players, Persita is promoting young talents from their Elite Pro Academy. Promising prospects Adriano Saputra, Dafiq Firdaus, and Cois Artomoro Raya are expected to play more significant roles this season, alongside young goalkeepers Rafi Pamungkas and Rizwan Haikal, who will compete for the starting position with Kurniawan Kartika Ajie.
With this stable and balanced squad, Persita aims to deliver a more competitive performance and hopes to improve their standing in Liga 1. The club and its supporters are optimistic that this continuity will help the team achieve better results in the coming season.
