Persib Bandung Secures Berguinho to Boost Midfield and Wing Attack for 2025 Season

Persib Bandung has confirmed the signing of Brazilian midfielder Rosembergne da Silva, known as Berguinho, ahead of the upcoming season. The announcement came through an official broadcast, signaling the club’s continued efforts to strengthen their squad. Berguinho joins Persib on a two-year contract, bringing fresh energy and skill to the team.
Before joining Persib, Berguinho played for Borneo FC, where he showed promising performance throughout the previous season. At 28 years old, he accumulated significant playing time with 38 appearances, contributing six goals and four assists. His ability to play both in midfield and as an attacking winger adds versatility to Persib’s lineup.
Berguinho is seen as the direct replacement for Tyronne del Pino, offering strong technical attributes and an attacking threat from the wings. His experience in Indonesian football is expected to facilitate a smooth transition and help Persib maintain a competitive edge.
The club aims for an aggressive start in both Liga 1 and the AFC Champions League Two, and Berguinho’s signing reflects that ambition. His familiarity with the national football environment is viewed as a key factor in strengthening team cohesion and performance as Persib pursues new achievements.
