AC Milan Eye Dusan Vlahovic Transfer, But Wage Demands Pose Major Obstacle

AC Milan has shown increasing interest in signing Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic during the current summer transfer window. The club is maintaining regular contact with the Serbian forward, reportedly influenced by former Juventus coach Max Allegri, who remains close to Vlahovic and is believed to be pushing for a potential reunion.
With Vlahovic’s contract running until June 2026 and renewal talks at a standstill, his exit from Juventus this summer seems likely. Reports suggest the transfer fee could be as low as €20 million, making the deal financially feasible in terms of acquisition cost. However, the challenge lies not in the fee, but in his high salary demands.
Vlahovic currently earns around €12 million per season, a figure well above AC Milan’s structured and conservative wage system. This salary expectation presents a significant hurdle for the Rossoneri, who are cautious about disrupting their financial balance. Despite the affordability of the transfer fee, the wage issue could be a deal-breaker unless compromises are made.
Still, the strong connection between Allegri and Vlahovic continues to fuel speculation. Allegri was instrumental in bringing Vlahovic to Juventus from Fiorentina and is reportedly maintaining close communication with him. While the move to San Siro remains uncertain and complex, Milan is keeping a close watch and may act swiftly if circumstances become more favorable.
