Cremonese, Not Juventus, Shows Interest in Indonesian Goalkeeper Emil Audero

Emil Audero, the Indonesian national team goalkeeper, has recently been linked with a potential move within Serie A, but contrary to media speculation, Juventus is not the club pursuing him. Instead, newly promoted side Cremonese has emerged as the only team currently showing concrete interest in signing him on loan from Como 1907.
Como president Mirwan Suwarso clarified that there has been no contact from Juventus regarding Audero, despite reports suggesting he was a top candidate to replace Mattia Perin. Cremonese, having secured promotion through the Serie B playoffs, is looking to strengthen their squad ahead of the 2025-26 Serie A season and sees Audero as a possible key addition between the posts.
As Como prepares for its return to Serie A, the club is still evaluating its roster and has yet to finalize the goalkeeping lineup. Emil’s future remains uncertain as Como has not appointed a clear second-choice keeper, making it difficult to decide whether to let him leave on loan or keep him as a primary option.
Emil is currently on break after representing Indonesia in the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers and is expected to rejoin Como’s training next week. His recent loan spell at Palermo has kept him active in competitive football, but his long-term role with Como will depend on the club’s strategy for the upcoming top-flight campaign.
