Rebuilding Real Madrid: No Contract Extensions for Rudiger and Alaba

Instead, it seems probable that Rudiger and Alaba will finish their contracts at Real Madrid, maintaining defensive strength for the time being.

In the meantime, Real Madrid is actively pursuing younger defensive options to refresh the squad. Ibrahima Konate has emerged as a top target, and the club has also attempted to sign William Saliba, though Arsenal rejected their bid. This approach underscores Madrid’s commitment to rebuilding their defense with fresh talent while allowing some veterans to phase out naturally.
