Martinelli: Arsenal Ready to Achieve 'Great Things' and Target All Trophies

Arsenal forward Gabriel Martinelli has declared that the club's trophy-hungry squad is prepared to achieve "great things" in what he calls the "most important season of their lives." The Gunners currently top the Premier League and maintain a perfect record in the Champions League, launching a concerted attack on multiple honors.
Speaking to The Daily Mirror, the Brazilian star confirmed the team is fully motivated. Not only is the pursuit of Premier League and Champions League glory a massive incentive, but many players are also driven by the desire to secure spots for next year’s World Cup. Arsenal has not won the league since the 2004 "Invincibles" season and has never lifted the Champions League trophy, making the opportunity for this current squad—stacked with internationals—unprecedented.
"We strongly believe this season we will achieve great things," Martinelli stated. "We have a great group and top players, and we are confident we can win titles. Playing for Arsenal means aiming to win all the trophies—the Premier League, FA Cup, League Cup, and the Champions League."
He noted the dual pressure and motivation: "It’s going to be a big season, and with the World Cup coming up, everyone wants to play and give their all."
Despite finishing runners-up in the previous three seasons, the winger is focused ahead of Sunday's clash with Crystal Palace. "It's easy to get to the top but difficult to stay there—that's what we're working hard to conquer," Martinelli acknowledged. "But we have an amazing group and fans, and we will do our best."
Martinelli, respected for his strong mentality, embraces the competition from players like Eberechi Eze and Leandro Trossard at the club, and Rodrygo and Vinícius Júnior at the national team level. He believes playing for Arsenal is like being with the national team, saying: "I'm lucky to be with so many good players... I'm always giving everything on and off the pitch, and I just want to be free to show my quality."
