Amorim: Being Merely Unbeaten is Not Enough for Manchester United, Focus on 'Urgency'

Manchester United manager Rúben Amorim addressed the team's current form ahead of the match against Everton, stating that simply maintaining an unbeaten run is insufficient for a club of Manchester United's stature.
Amorim acknowledged the need to consider extending the current six-game unbeaten streak but stressed that recent results, particularly the last two fixtures against Forest and Tottenham, had caused him significant frustration. He maintained that for Manchester United, merely remaining unbeaten is not the goal, as an unbeaten streak is not everything, especially since the team had failed to win the last two matches.
When questioned about his concern regarding a potential dip in form, Amorim confirmed that this worry is constant. He stated that one of his key responsibilities is to consistently maintain a feeling of "urgency" in every training session, given the unpredictable nature of the Premier League.
The manager cautioned against complacency, noting that he would not declare that the "storm has passed." However, he expressed confidence in the team's current mindset, emphasizing that they are now better prepared and have "more confidence to deal with any storm," urging the team to carry that sense of urgency into every game.
