Vitinha Joins Messi: Second Player Since 2003 to Record Champions League Hat-Trick and 80+ Successful Passes

Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Vitinha achieved a remarkable statistical feat in the Champions League this week, leading his side to a thrilling 5-3 victory over Tottenham Hotspur.
Vitinha scored a spectacular hat-trick during the match, simultaneously maintaining an exceptionally high passing accuracy. He completed 89 successful passes out of 95 attempts, resulting in an outstanding passing success rate of 94%.
Since the 2003/04 season, when detailed statistics began being recorded, Vitinha is only the second player to register a Champions League hat-trick while also completing at least 80 successful passes in the same match.
The only other player to have achieved this rare combination of elite scoring and dominant playmaking is Lionel Messi, who managed the feat on three separate occasions during his career. Vitinha's performance places him in truly elite company, highlighting his comprehensive influence on the game against a major European rival.
