Barcelona Eye Antonio Nusa as Next Versatile Wing Option from RB Leipzig

Barcelona has begun monitoring RB Leipzig winger Antonio Nusa as part of its search for new attacking talent. The interest intensified after scouts observed his performance in Norway’s dominant win over Italy during the 2026 World Cup qualifiers in November 2025. His impact in that match strengthened Barcelona’s belief that he could fit the club’s long-term plans.
Nusa’s ability to function effectively on both wings makes him an appealing option for expanding the tactical flexibility available to Hansi Flick. His pace, creativity, and comfort in multiple attacking roles offer potential solutions to Barcelona’s need for greater depth in wide areas. The club sees him as a young player capable of contributing immediately while still having room to grow.
Bringing him to Camp Nou, however, would require overcoming significant financial and contractual hurdles. Nusa is tied to Leipzig until 2029, and his current market valuation sits at around 28 million euros. Barcelona would need to navigate both the transfer fee and Leipzig’s reluctance to lose a key young talent.
Alongside Nusa, Barcelona is also tracking another Leipzig prospect, Assan Ouedraogo. At just 19, he has already become an important figure in the club’s midfield, accumulating goals and assists across competitions. His rapid rise suggests a future valuation that could reach 80 to 100 million euros by the summer of 2026, placing him among Europe’s most promising young midfielders.
