Market Values Shift for Indonesian Internationals in the Eredivisie as Mees Hilgers Drops and Dean James Surges
The latest Transfermarkt update brought significant changes to the market values of several Indonesian national team players competing in the Eredivisie. Among the five listed, three experienced adjustments while the remaining two maintained their previous figures. These shifts highlight contrasting trajectories in form, opportunity, and club situations across the Dutch top flight.

Mees Hilgers saw the biggest decline in value, falling from 86.91 billion rupiah to 69.53 billion rupiah. His season has been marked by setbacks, beginning with a failed transfer attempt in the summer and followed by his refusal to extend his contract with FC Twente. This decision resulted in him being excluded from the squad, and the situation worsened when he suffered an ACL injury that effectively ended his season.

In contrast, Dean James saw a rise in value, climbing from 31.29 billion rupiah to 34.76 billion rupiah. His steady performances for Go Ahead Eagles helped drive the increase, especially after contributing to a domestic cup triumph last season. His involvement in the Europa League has further strengthened his profile as a dependable asset for the club.

Justin Hubner also enjoyed an upward movement in his valuation, increasing from 5.21 billion rupiah to 6.08 billion rupiah. The Fortuna Sittard defender has continued to develop his role within the squad, adding stability at the back and showing growth that supports his improved market position. Meanwhile, Miliano Jonathans of FC Utrecht and Mauro Zijlstra of FC Volendam remained unchanged, holding steady at 15.64 billion rupiah and 1.30 billion rupiah respectively.

Additional Indonesian players competing in the Dutch second tier also saw varied outcomes. Ivar Jenner maintained his valuation at 5.21 billion rupiah, while Tim Geypens held steady at 3.48 billion rupiah. Dion Markx, representing TOP OSS, has yet to receive an official market value. Together, these figures reflect both challenges and promising developments for Indonesian footballers across the Netherlands.
