Barcelona Limits Frankfurt Tickets to 2,400, But 1,000 Extra Fans Expected to Arrive Un-ticketed
Ahead of the Champions League match between Barcelona and Eintracht Frankfurt at Camp Nou, Mundo Deportivo reported that while only 2,400 tickets were allocated to the visiting club, an additional 1,000 Frankfurt fans without tickets are anticipated to travel to Barcelona.

The 2,400 tickets provided by Barcelona, as per UEFA rules, were quickly sold out. However, security sources informed the club of the expected arrival of the extra fans. The Frankfurt club has advised its ticketed supporters to gather at the Palau Reial Metro station for a police-escorted march to the stadium.

This security alert follows a notorious incident during the 2022 Europa League, where lax ticketing control allowed approximately 30,000 Frankfurt supporters (five times the official allocation) to enter Camp Nou.

To prevent a repeat, Barcelona has implemented maximum security and ticketing control measures. The club strictly limited sales to members and deployed non-transferable mobile tickets via a dedicated member app, eliminating PDF formats to minimize resale risks. The club has also identified and canceled tickets belonging to 353 members and eight season ticket holders implicated in illegal resale activities.
