From La Masia to Paris: Dro Fernandez Seals Long-Term Move to PSG

Paris Saint-Germain have completed the signing of teenage midfielder Dro Fernandez from Barcelona, securing his services on a long-term contract that runs until 2030. The move marks a significant step in the young player’s career as he transitions from Spain to France at just 18 years old.

Fernandez initially joined Barcelona in 2022 and quickly rose through the club’s youth ranks. His development peaked with Barca U19, where he played a key role in their UEFA Youth League triumph during the 2024–25 season, contributing goals and consistent performances across the campaign.

His progress earned him a promotion to Barcelona’s senior squad, where he made his first-team debut in La Liga in late September 2025.
