Febri Hariyadi Joins Persis on Six-Month Loan to Regain Form

Persib Bandung confirmed that winger Febri Hariyadi has been loaned to Persis Solo for the remainder of the season. The 29-year-old was absent from Persib’s lineup in their recent match against Malut United, and his registration now appears under Persis on the I.League website. This mid-season move aims to provide him with more opportunities to play regularly.
Coach Bojan Hodak explained that Febri remains under contract with Persib and is expected to return for the 2026-27 season. Hodak highlighted the winger’s quality and past contributions, noting that his agility and skills played a significant role in Persib’s Liga 1 championship in the 2023-24 season.
Febri suffered a serious injury during the 2024 President’s Cup, tearing his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and requiring surgery. This setback limited his playing time in the current season, preventing him from regaining his previous performance level. Hodak emphasized that the loan is intended to help Febri rebuild his match fitness and confidence.
The decision to loan him was also influenced by Persib’s current squad depth. Wingers such as Saddil, Beckham, Berguinho, and Barros are available and ready for selection, leaving Febri with limited opportunities on the field. Ensuring consistent minutes is crucial for a player recovering from a long-term injury.
By moving to Persis Solo, Febri is expected to gain the regular playing time he needs to return to top form. The loan arrangement is seen as mutually beneficial, allowing Persis to strengthen their squad while Persib supports Febri’s recovery and development for the upcoming seasons.
