Red Star’s home stadium severely damaged after being set on fire by rival fans
According to the British newspaper The Sun, during last weekend’s Belgrade derby, Red Star Belgrade’s home stadium was set on fire by rival Partizan Belgrade supporters and has now been left completely devastated.

The blaze broke out in the 56th minute of the match—shortly after Arnautović scored to give Red Star a 2–0 lead. Video footage shows the fire spreading rapidly, forcing some Partizan fans to evacuate the affected section of the stand. The match was temporarily suspended so that the fire could be extinguished before resuming in the 64th minute.
Newly released images reveal the severity of the aftermath: large amounts of debris scattered along the edge of the pitch, rows of seats burned and charred black. Some seats were so badly damaged that they had to be removed and thrown onto the field.
