Nova Arianto Begins U-20 Rebuild with 25 Rising Prospects for Regional and Asian Tests

Head coach Nova Arianto has officially launched his tenure with Indonesia’s U-20 national team by calling up 25 promising young players for the first Talent ID Camp. The selection marks the initial step in shaping a competitive squad ahead of the 2026 AFF U-19 Championship and the 2027 AFC U-20 Asian Cup qualifiers. The camp is designed to evaluate potential candidates and establish a balanced team capable of competing at both regional and continental levels.

The players come from a wide range of backgrounds, including Liga 1 youth teams, junior competitions, and lower-division clubs, reflecting Nova’s intention to build a diverse and competitive squad. Consistent performances at youth and domestic levels formed the basis of the selections, while the coaching staff is also monitoring overseas-based and diaspora prospects as part of a broader long-term development plan.
