Indonesia Calls 19 Players for Futsal National Team Training Ahead of AFF 2026

The Indonesian national futsal team has announced a 19-player roster for the upcoming training camp in preparation for the 2026 ASEAN Futsal Championship. The training camp will serve as a key stage for the team to build cohesion and finalize tactical strategies ahead of the regional tournament. The selected players were chosen after careful evaluation of their performances in the domestic futsal league.
Head coach Héctor Souto and his coaching staff conducted the selection process to identify the most consistent and talented players across various positions. The training camp is designed to ensure that each player understands the team’s tactical approach and can adapt to the systems that will be implemented during the championship. Building chemistry between players is a priority to maximize performance on the international stage.
The 19 selected players cover all critical roles in futsal, including goalkeepers, anchors, flanks, and pivots. This diverse composition reflects the coaching staff’s intention to balance defensive stability with offensive versatility. The roster includes standout talents from top domestic clubs such as Unggul FC, BlackSteel FC, Cosmo JNE, Pangsuma FC, Bintang Timur Surabaya FC, FAFAGE Banua FC, and Kuda Laut Nusantara.
The players come from six different clubs in Indonesia’s Pro Futsal League, highlighting the depth of talent in the national competition. By drawing from multiple regions and teams, the coaching staff aims to assemble the strongest possible squad and foster a sense of national representation. The domestic league remains a crucial source for regenerating the national team and developing future futsal stars.
The Indonesian Futsal Federation expressed appreciation to the players selected and the clubs that supported the preparation process.
